My Honda Civic EK9 Road Car

My Honda Civic EK9 imported from Japan with approx 41,000 miles on the clock. I got the car in November 2008 from Z Motor Japanese import specialists in Manchester. (Browse their showroom stock at zmotor.co.uk)

I enjoy the EK9 for the amazing car that it is, so I have no future plans for engine modifications and may only undertake some discrete aesthetic changes. The drivability of this car is astounding. I know there are some nicely set up B16B turbo and B18C EK9's out there but I have no intention to make the car any more mental than it already is. (The race car project is to explore the limits of mental!)

I love the original JDM feel so much I even have retained the Japanese ICE/satnav systems the car was imported with so I am spoken to in Japanese, have to use the Japanese on-screen menus, limited to only Japanese radio frequencies (no UK radio available) and limited to Japanese TV frequencies (can only pick up one grainy UK channel).

As a member of Honda Culture, involved in the club management, I attend car shows around England, commonly Japanese shows and frequently am found at our own local meets as well as events at the world famous (and very local!) Santa Pod Raceway where I occasionaly race.
